Digital Optical Audio Cables

S/PDIF (also written as S/P DIF, SPDIF or S/P-DIF) stands for Sony Philips Digital Interface Format. The S/PDIF specification allows for different types of cables and connectors. The electrical cables are usually referred to as 'coaxial' and 'RCA connector'. The optical variant is usually called 'optical' or 'Toslink'.
